About Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint (ORV)

Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint is a South Korean webtoon (manhwa) adapted from the popular web novel written by Sing N Song and illustrated by Sleepy-C and Redice Studio. The story follows Kim Dokja, an ordinary office worker whose life is turned upside down when the world transforms into the setting of his favorite web novel, Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse — a story only he has read in its entirety.

Armed with knowledge of the novel’s events and characters, Kim Dokja must navigate a brutal, game-like reality filled with monsters, “constellations,” regressors, and moral dilemmas. With the help of the novel’s original protagonist, Yoo Joonghyuk, and a growing group of allies, Dokja steps into the role of an “omniscient reader,” trying to rewrite a fate that was never meant to be his.

Blending action, psychological drama, philosophical questions, and intricate world-building, ORV explores the nature of storytelling, survival, and what it means to be the main character in a world that’s already been written.
